Fresh water fishing is more relaxing than sea fishing generally. We spend quite a bit

of time on lakes and rivers trying to catch the big one or a big bag of fish. One particular

fishery we have fished for a few years is the Essex leisure fisheries in Hadliegh Essex.

This is a four lake complex with stocks of good carp tench pike bream and so on.

We spend a lot of time up on the fens fishing for pike and zander. Between us we have come

across some top hot spots, we have had big bags of pike to 20lb and zander to 14lb+.

a couple of the places we fish are Ely town center and along the ten mile bank, both these places

have produced good pike & zander. Now were starting to fish the Norfolk broards with some

success but its early days yet.
